Ouch. I can't fault the guy for needing to go help his family, but this will really hurt the secondary in a big way.

I dont think it is going to matter. He was a 2nd string CB and our 4th best CB. We have less depth but the quality during the majority of plays won't change.

I am generally of the opinion that you can't have too much depth, regardless of quality of play. The guy has a ton of snaps under his belt and that kind of experience leaving the program is never good.

He had the most snaps after Skai, didn't he? That's worrisome.

I fear our secondary is going to get lit up again and our offense won't be able to keep up.. again.

4 scholarship CBs on the roster now.

WR Christian Owens will also be transferring out. Not a big loss there though, never saw the field.

An extra scholly with Owens as Rico was a SR I believe

Maybe we should just run the triple option and keep our defense off the field for as long as possible.

Yep, we are one single CB injury away from being in a world of hurt now. It's a shame that McWilliams obviously didn't want to play FB anymore, but then I guess this is also better than having him continue to play and give us half-assed effort on the field too....
We'll just have to find a way to rise above it, and go recruit another 4* CB for 2017....

Not really McWilliams was gone after this year anyways.

I don't think that's what's he's doing. Muschamp said his leave of absence wasn't related and his comment about players not wanting to work hard are better off flipping burgers doesn't make sense unless he's just not interested in playing football anymore.
