I know the season is upon us, but I thought this was an interesting enough off season type article that GamecockCentral recently published.

Going by his standards, we've only won 2 games via last-second FGs in our history.

Imagine how starved that poor guy must've been. The dude went through half a dozen archives for what amounted to finding 2 games over 100 years.

that's when you know you're deep into summer and there's not shite else going on. I wonder if at some point, it was 2am and he's solo in a library with the only light being that emitted from the microfiche he's scrolling through looking at old NYT articles from the 1930s and he looks up and has a moment of clarity and says "what am I doing with my life?"

I like a good research based statistical article, but this is offseasonism at its finest. A+ to the guy for effort though.
