Yeah, he looks promising. Who was the other transfer we got here just recently...he was also immediately eligible to play. Can't remember his name or where he was transferring from. There was another recruit that released his top 3 within this past week and we were one of the three. Frank is recruiting his arse off.

That recruit is out of Conway SC, and he doesn't even an official offer from us yet. Has us at the top with Miami and Providence, who both have offered him. He unofficially visited us recently, and is scheduled to OV to us later this fall, and is expecting to get an offer then. If he does, he could commit on the spot....

Heard an interesting story today...someone was talking about us suspending and removing Felder from Carolina but we accepted a transfer (can't recall which it was or where he was from) that punched one of his own teammates on the team he transferred to us from in the jaw over music in the locker room. Wtf??

The story I'm hearing on Feldman is that it is doubtful he'll be allowed to return to the team. Martin is fighting for him to get with some special program to keep him in school beginning next semester so I suppose that leaves the door open for a possible return .... but it didn't sound likely. Tanner has a strict policy about hitting girls and evidently she spit, he spit and pushed back but didn't actually hit her.

We took an eligible graduate transfer late in the game to try to replace him.

Martin seems to have written Felder off as a player. Felder is looking to transfer is what I was told. Some school up north.

South Carolina Sophomore Guard Rakym Felder's case has officially been dismissed

Interesting developments. Not sure if this means Rakym has a chance to return to the team this coming season - he's currently not enrolled in school - but it does move the ball in the positive direction to possibly him returning at some point in the future....

Martin has said, as recently as yesterday, that the door is not shut on him returning but, as of now he is no longer a part of the basketball team.

I actually heard him talking about it and it sounded like, at least to me, that he maybe could return next year.

The reason I kinda doubt it will happen is because we're suddenly in on big name players everywhere and I suspect the decision makers are just going to advise Frank to move-on.

I would imagine we've seen the last of Felder in the garnet and black and that's such a shame .... but you can't be throwin' da beatins' oh da hoes.

Sorry CG ... ;) lol

I think he comes back next season, frank is fighting to keep him.

The kid is a player, very competitive with ice water flowing through his veins. He was so impressive down the stretch, probably the most impressive of all the freshmen IMHO ... I really do hope he gets it turned around and makes it back.

Sitting out a year, no practicing with the team, no workouts in the weight room, no one pushing you ... it can hurt a kid.

I'm sure the players will keep him on the loop and helping him along,
