I live in the apartments right on the river across the Blossom St. bridge in Cayce. I'm in a building that's not on the river and on the 3rd floor but I walked over to the other side where the 1st floor apts are and the river is so damn high. Still, it wasn't that bad here. Power flickered 12 or so times the other day but always came back on within seconds. Water never went out, but did have to boil some to drink.

Mostly worried about my parents whose neighborhood is right off of Ft. Jackson Blvd. Their street has not flooded but two streets over the flood waters were up to the roofs of houses. Concern now is of course dams breaking so I pray that doesn't happen and they can make it out of this without having to evacuate...

(2 streets over from my parents house the other day)

Classes have been cancelled the remainder of the week.

IMO, they are going to cancel the game as well. Looks like LSU caught a break.

If they fix the water the game will be held as planned

Checking in. I live in Forest Acres, and some of my neighbors weren't as lucky as I was. Two streets over were completely underwater. Glad everyone for the most part is safe.

Forest Acres/Arcadia Lakes/Lake Katherine may have been ground zero for this event. The intersection of Forest and Trenholm was 5 feet under water.
