Had a couple inches of flooding get into the house starting around 2am but it didn't damage anything and I'm good now. Pretty fortunate because there was about 2-3ft in the backyard

Just want my cable/internet back so I can watch the Cowboys tonight but it's probably not gonna happen

Lots of rain, but no damages for me, unscathed. Although hwy 321 right behind the house is completely flooded.

Family reported past ankles but not yet to waist. Bigger question is when it will recede.

Does anybody have any info on St. Helena Island? It's east of Parris Island and north of Hilton Head. My aunt and uncle live in Frogmore.

USC is closed today. Columbia water supply is contaminated with ground water.

I live south of Aiken in Jackson. Everything is fine here. However I believe north of Aiken has had some issues, but nothing compared to what all is happening in Columbia.

In Cola it was overcast with some brief mostly light showers throughout the day.

Not sure what it was like in Charleston

USC is closed today as well. They still haven't worked out the drinking water issue.

Thanks. My parents live in North Augusta. They are visiting family in New Orleans right now, so I had no information on the conditions in that part of the state.

All's well by the airport, only had one road washed out by my house but for the most part everyone is doing well. Not sure where/what most people are going to do but whatever it is we will do it together.

Also I hope this tragedy will bring our football team closer and get us past another rough lose this season. No matter what happens the rest of the season they should know that it's just a game and things could be a lot worse.

We were high and dry but the water was waaaaay up at both the farm house and lake house.

We had to go around and pick-up family, including an Aunt who lives down on Lake Katherine who was evacuated yesterday along with a nephew over on Arcadia Lakes.

Sun is out today though - windows are open, it's cool and breezy. But man oh man the last few days have been something. Never seen so many busted dams, washed out bridges and roads and flooded houses in all my years. Both of our ponds on the farm crested but neither dam broke although one did spill across the road.

I live in Summerville between the Ashley and Edisto rivers, my house backed up to wetlands. Water is just now starting to creep up in the backyard by the fence. All around me roads are closed, so making it to work is like zig zagging around the area. Will have to see what it looks like after all the water from orangeburg and further up flows on down our way. Sent the wife and kids over to a friends house away from the rivers for a couple days.
