Well damn ... there ya go. I guess Martin didn't want Huggy's leftovers as a professional/close friend courtesy. Figured that would happen.

That's really sort of a shame because the kid can play. "Teddy Buckets."

Not sure how much this plays into him coming back, not sure where he sits on his eligibility.

But apparently he's not doing well at the combine.

quote:

To be blunt, it didn’t go well. Bowen missed both his shots in his opening game, turned the ball over five times and looked like the most overwhelmed player on the floor. “He’s in no man’s land,” said a veteran NBA scout who watched Bowen struggle on Thursday. “He may not be good enough to play in the G League right now.”

per @JeffGoodmanESPN

quote:

South Carolina forward and former Louisville signee Brian Bowen is expected to remain in the NBA Draft after being informed by the NCAA that he will have to sit next season (at a minimum), source told ESPN. Final ruling hasn’t even been made by NCAA, and could miss even more time

Can't say I'm shocked.

Yep. It was a longshot for him to be cleared.

All the NCAA had to do was sit on their hands long enough for this matter to just go away.

G League ... and I hope he is at least drafted by the G League, but he may not.

Good luck to him though.

The NCAA did him wrong ... as did Louisville and his father.

They say he's a late 2nd rounder to G League pick

I'm just going to say this about that. If his dad did get money, I don't see any way he didn't know.

And I'm not hating on him for it. It happens, and is probably happening with tons of players.

They just sucked at covering the tracks.

If we land AJ Lawson out of Canada, I'll be all kinds of happy.

You should watch the Carter Effect on Netflix.

If not for Vince we may not know who AJ Lawson even was.

It seems like we replace half to two-thirds of our team every year. Lol

Pretty sure Jair Bolden isn't a grad xfer.

Confirmed

It is presumed Bolden will have to sit out the 2018-19 campaign before beginning his final two seasons of eligibility.

That's one of our better classes in a long long time.

Do they do basketball class rankings like they do football class rankings? I know Dave Telep used to do one but I have not seen one in years.
