Gamecocks sweep #5 Florida 8-5.

This team still has alot to improve on which only makes the possibilities more exciting.

What a great way to recover from that crappy prior week.

The outcome last weekend wasn't what we wanted but I felt that us playing the team that is picked to win it all, and has the top 2 draft pics, toe to toe gave confidence to our team thats why I said last weekend we would beat Florida. We are a talented team that still hasn't figured out all the pieces. We will see some highs with some headscratchers thrown in. This is not going to be a team people want to face come tourny time.

Texas and the midweek game leading up to Vandy was what really killed my optimism. Sunday Vandy started the turnaround though and it’s been fun to watch

Hope they keep it up.

There are things we all can agree that Kingston needs to work on but keeping the guys from folding after the losses built up is a sign of a good leader. I still think the team is needing a different piece in one or two area's but I'm happy so far.

Oh, I'm right there with you man.

After beating Clemson I actually got excited for our baseball team first time in years. I was okay with losing the series to Texas but after getting swept I immediately lost all the mojo (especially after so many other SEC teams had already beaten the Horns this year).

Follow that by losing 3 more and I was just about to call it in. I am incredibly surprised at them being able to bounce back with this 5 game win streak.

At worst we should go 4-2 in our next 2 SEC series.

those have got to be some of the best RISP averages we've had in a while, right?

Streaky team.

Baseball America has us projected as a Regional host as the #13 seed. We would face the Louisville regional winner in the supers.

it ain't been good recently in the series.

take a peep at the 'curremt streak' and 'last 10' ...it's almost like what we have done to them in basketball. USC hasn't won a weekend vs Georgia since 2013. crazy.

a Gamecock sweep would be quite fine - and a much needed stop to a bad trend. Kingston still looking for his first victory against UGa. Holbrook started this funk with the dawgs in 2014.

That shows that we're 65-63 vs UGA all-time but 1-9 in the last 10.

yeah it's kinda fallen apart for Carolina in this series of late. Gamecocks are 4-10-1 in the SEC weekend series' in Athens since 1992. USC was 15-18 vs UGa at Foley after we swept them in 2010. it's been rough for Carolina since.

5-1 Win to take the georgia series.

This should have been a sweep. Still need to clean up some mistakes.

Tough midweek game against unc this week then missouri comes to town.

Really an unacceptable stat.

Luckily UGA already took 1 game off of Vandy. This could be a good weekend to make up some ground.
