I don't consider the bold a concern. He's been heavily invested in the game, even if he's not coaching.

Now I will agree that it's possible he just comes in and hates recruiting and it doesn't work out. I don't think it's particularly likely, but I do have to acknowledge that is a possibility.

I think he's a very good coach that would likely put together a very good staff and field a very strong program on a consistent basis. There may be 'safer' hires, but I think his ceiling is higher than any other potential candidate.

I still don't think he'll take the job.
