Would take him a while to get his type of players in.

You guys went from Petrino to Burt already, two completely different types of skill players needed for those offenses.

How much is the buyout? $15 million?

Currently, yes. It drops to 11mil on Jan 2nd

I don't think the buyout will be an issue either way. Arkansas isn't short on money or donors with money. We aren't in a situation like say, an LSU for instance. LSU is paying off Les Miles, which in turn has their hands tied with Coach O's buyout.

Why would he go to Arkansas as opposed to WSU?

It's a shame. I had high hopes for the big boy that we'd play SEC football. Line up and slug it out. We go to Leach and I don't know if I can hang watching Big 12 hully gully sissy football.

Not really

This is true, but the roster right now would transition well to a wide open offense.

There has been good QB recruiting over the last few years. There is talent at WR, just not utilized properly. There is talent on the OL, but Bert would rather play two walk ons than 4* OL recruited by Sam Pittman. Yes, you did read that correctly.

I'm fairly certain we are not.

We have a former walk-on starting at CB over several 5*'s.
Got his 'ship last year.

Who knows, he may not. He has always talked highly of Arkansas. This past weeks press conference about War Memorial was the latest.

I don't think Leach is the only option for Arkansas.

The positive for Arkansas is that LSU is tied to Coach O, Sumlin has aTm improving. So those are two openings that probably will not happen this season.

Actually yes. It will come out likely after Bert is let go. He and Anderson have issues with giving players PT that showed any loyalty to Pittman.

Good stories happen all the time. Our OL coach and Head Coach have an issue with any players that had any loyalty to Sam Pittman. They basically just don't play.
