looking at your schedule with the exception of bama (which is going to be ugly as it will be for arkansas)
you guys could easily win out.

I have a bad feeling that we will finish 8-4 and end up keeping Butch. Winning 5 out of last 7 games will cool Butch's seat a little bit.

Holding onto Butch essentially guarantees another 3 years of mediocrity. Fans apathy would be at an all time high from day 1. Butch is clearly not the guy to take us to the next level. He hasn't won the east in the worst east ever and got DESTROYED at home by a rival in his FIFTH year. (If hes such a great recruiter, which is something I hear constantly, WHERE ARE THESE PLAYERS HES RECRUITING AND WHY DO WE SUCK)The time is now. We will be one of, if not THE top job opening available this off-season.
What I don't understand is why we are freaking out about saving the recruiting class. Scrambling to save the recruiting class is what got us Dooleyed. IF we bring the right coach in, the recruiting class will be just fine.

The team that edged out a winless UMass in a highly competitive game (stats were virtually even) and got skulldrug by UGA at home has a ceiling of 2 wins left of their schedule.

We just had a game where we had 7 first downs, ran 5 plays in UGA territory, and have fights at practice seemingly once a week now.
We are not winning anywhere close to 9 games lol

If I was the AD, Butch would have been fired Sunday.
If we have to give him the full season, I would fire him unless he beats Alabama.

Sure we could...
Just like we could have won out last year after Bama...UT went 3-2, losing to USCe and Vandy;
A team that hasn't scored a point in the last 6 quarters, isn't going to run the table.
