I hate when we do this "not permanent" I understand depth concerns at db but if we are going to move him there he should stick there for his career

Not sure this needed an additional thread. There was already one where someone had asked the question this morning about 10 posts lower... but w/e.

Smart doesn't give much away in the comments other than we are deeper at WR bodies than we are at DB, particularly with more guys likely gone after this season at DB.

He played Corner in HS so they're going to get him some exposure... throw some darts see what sticks I guess. Not thrilling as I think he's got a ton of ability as a WR, but who knows...

I agree. If we need DBs and he can play move him. But he's a 4* receiver with a ton of upside and hasn't even had a chance to prove it in a game. I have no idea if he played both ways in HS

I thought Hardman's freshman year was wasted at db when we really could have used another viable threat at WR last year, and he would've been a better WR this year for it. Instead, we stuck a 5* recruit at a position we never used him at. Hardman has more talent at WR than Chigbu and should have taken his reps last year.

Hope this isn't Round 2 with Webb.

He did. Not that I think that means it makes sense to move him, but I'll trust the guys who see them day in day out to make the right decision until they prove otherwise.
