Sucks. Still waiting on our typical injury bug to strike.

I'm not familiar with sports injuries but a torn Achilles heel will make you miss a whole year?

One of the largest tendons in the body. Feel the back of your leg above the heel. Very strong and thick, so if damaged requires a long time to heal and regain that level of strength after repair.

Hate it for the kid but then again one less threat our offense has to worry about if I'm wrong for saying it like that

I looked at UF's incoming DB class a while back. I don't remember the details now, but I was impressed with the quality of kids they have coming in. Freshmen are a liability, but they have some good ones if needed.

Nah, sometimes during the off season I like to look at what kind of class the opposition signed. Less and less though as the years pass. I've about lost all interest in sports except cfb, and I'm not even sure how much of that I'll watch this year.

Hate it for the kid. I strained mine in high school and didn't play for 3 weeks because the trainers were so worried I'd tear it. It is a painful part of the body to injure.

He has to be the last of the Muschamp legacy. He has left a trail of NFL prospects at db.

That just sounds like an insanely painful injury
