Some of my 1st memories of watching Bama Football I remember my Dad throwing pillows at the TV and calling players "goats" when they screwed up.

Bama Football is so great because it evokes memories like that.Your memory of your Father after the 92' NCG.

Good times.

I got most of you beat. I remember losing the 1973 Sugar Bowl to Notre Dame.
Hell, I was at the game with my wife and first son. I remember when Ears Whitworth was losing on a regular basis, and vividly remember Coach Bryant's 1st game as HC at Alabama. They played LSU in Mobile on a Saturday night and a wooden end zone stand collapsed during the game. Ambulances were running in and out of the stadium while the game was going on...they put up a helluva fight but got beat 13-3.

It sounds like you and I are almost the same age.

My friends hate me, and you probably will as well, b/c I brag a lot about grew up attending games and rooting for Bear and Bama's Dynasty. I attended FSU and just about every game during Bowden's Dynasty and am now celebrating Nick and Bama's Dynasty from home as I've yet to attend one of his games but will be rectifying that next year.

I've attended and/or celebrated NCs in the 70s, 90s, 00s, and 10s. I don't know what it's is like to not be in contention for a NC at the beginning of each year. I will admit however, the 80s were tough.

I am spoiled but at the same time, I see what CNS is doing at Bama and my eyes grow more and more wide with each game as this is beyond amazing to watch. As I'm an old fart, I do appreciate this so much more than I did with Bear and Bowden's dynasties b/c of the greater level of difficulty in scheming today's players, offenses and defenses CNS is experiencing.

Yes I can root for 2 teams equally as hard, my TVs hate it but they take it and ask for more.

And yes, I will be rooting for Bama against FSU next year.

Roll Tide brothers!
