For the record, I like LSU. Plus, the west needs balance and they are the best chance at that. I hope O works out for them, but the melt over there is comedy gold.

So glad UGA did it right. Smart may or may not be our coach of the future, but at least we had a plan in place, knew who we wanted our next coach to be then went out and got him.
LSU followed the South Carolina method. Be the first to lose your head coach and then turn your coaching search into a circus before settling on a joke of a head coach that no one else wanted as the fan base melts publicly and hard.

Very true. Alleva makes emotional decisions on his hires. Coulda seen this coming a mile away.

Horrible hire. They gave us shite for hiring Smart and they fall victim to their 3rd option? Good stuff

I caught a couple of his TV shows when at Ole Miss. He reminded me of an ax murderer and had no command of the English language.

What exactly was the "plan"?Only target one guy who wasn't gonna turn us down? And then rush into the hire once we find out SC wanted 'em?
Sorry,if you look at the track record of McGarity's hires its pretty piss poor and I don't have much faith in his methodolgy.
