There is very little difference between Del Rio and Applby. They're the same kind of quarterback with similar abilities.
Let's not delude ourselves into thinking this is a Grier/Harris situation.
Appleby is a below average quarterback. Del Rio is a below average quarterback, but not quite as far below average as Appleby. The difference between the two is minimal, and arguably negligible.

When it comes to making first downs that's absolutely not the case. Both games where the UF Offense got over 500 yards (first time since 2008) came from Del Rio offenses.
Both times Florida was even close to losing came with Appleby.
Neither of you actually watched the games, neither of you have any idea what you're talking about.
Florida vs. Vandy with Appleby: 15 first downs, 236 yards total.
Florida vs. Mizzou with Del Rio: 22 first downs, 523 yards.
The difference between the two is that Del Rio actually makes you defend the pass. Possession was up by almost ten minutes, third down conversions were up to 50% (25% more than the Vandy game).
No one listens to sense here, though. The team, however, produces much better under Del Rio, and the best its ever produced since 2008.
Period.

Or, perhaps Vandy has a much better defense than Mizzou? Maybe? Nah, that can't be it, Del Rio is the next Montana. He showed it with those 3 interceptions against one of the worst defenses in the conference

There's no reason to argue, Georgia's offense has no hope on Saturday, none.

Yeah, two of those interceptions had no impact and it wasn't really because of bad play as much as it was bad playcalling. It was clear that those plays were called pre-snap.
Again, that's how I know you didn't watch. One was literally the last play of the half so he threw it up, the other was pre-snap and the third was wholly his fault.
Never said he was the next Montana, but again:
You don't want to listen.
You don't want to actually talk.
You didn't watch the game.
It's cool, dude, you're shooting from the hip on some cherry-picked stats, but I'm just telling you, your offense isn't that great.
The defense just gassed because there were no first downs to be had.
I proved the first down metric is different, and the third down conversion rate is different. If you watched, you'd've seen how Del Rio threaded several tight passes to make first downs, but you didn't.

Link to me ever saying that it was? Btw, we moved the ball in the first half against you, were just stalled in the red zone. If your defense as remotely as good as you think it is, they would have stopped us a few times in the second half to bail your offense out.

Didn't you guys get on the five yard line two times?
What happened?
You couldn't get a single touchdown the entire first half.
Then suddenly, as if the defense was tired, you started to produce.
Magic? Maybe. Or maybe one team's quarterback just couldn't produce first downs, and that same team's defense got tired.
Like I said, this is a record breaking defense, the offense just let us down. It's a continuing trend.
