Kevin Steele would get my vote for Broyles Award as top assistant. His Auburn defense hasn't given up more than 2 TDs in a game all year.

Would also like to add that nobody has scored 30 on us in a single game this year. I might be wrong but were probably the only team in the country not to give up 30 in a game yet.

He's done a great job. I didn't like the hire, but it has really worked out well. I also think Lance Thompson leaving helped. He can recruit but his coaching is awful.

Given the changes Steele's apparently wrought, I'm not entirely sure I'd disagree with Low. Auburn always had talent on the defense, but Steele is somehow actually managing to make it work effectively for once.

Too bad they give those out after the season is over.

Seems to be a great fit there.

He's been very good for Auburn

Clearly just a better fit there. LSU and Auburn both came out smelling like a rose.

Best defenses in the SEC, by far.

Maybe. But having better faster player helps. This is the first time we have had speed at lber since Tubs left.

No one has scored more than 21 on LSU.

Steele has been good. There is a lot of talent on D at AU and they started turning the corner late last year. I can't say anything negative about steele, but understand why some think he started this season on 3rd base.

Because he lucked out at got Trevor Knight as a graduate transfer?

If Knight didn't drop into his lap, aTm would be looking at a 5 loss season.

Gotta say Auburns defense looking pretty good and as a team they look tough.
