I've been surprised that I never hear this change in offensive strategies discussed. I hear the discussion on shifting offensive strategies about Saban pretty often. The Aggies have quickly moved away from the Big 12 / old WAC style of play. I don't care for Sumlin due to his partying escapades with Manziel, but he has done a good job adapting.

We also had 231 yards on 37 carries (6.2). So not sure if you watched the game or not
You had one run for 89 yards, almost half of your rushing numbers. Without that 1 run, you're averaging less than 4 yards per carry. Don't act like you were running the ball that well.

That's a lot of work and effort into explaining something so simple:
Scoring points is nice, but when your scoring drives take less than 2 minutes, and your three and outs last 15 seconds, the defense gets gassed. Being one dimensional is bad, whether you only run the ball like Miles, or only throw the ball like Kliff Kingsberry. Defenses know what is coming next.

If you take away the 89 yard run and the sack we had 35 carries for 153 yards, which 4.4 per carry. I would consider that running it pretty well. I definitely wouldn't consider your DL "dominating" our OL like you said. You don't get 480 yards of total offense or whatever we had if you get dominated up front
And we were 2-15 on third down, so saying him scrambling out of trouble on third down won us the game is ridiculous. If we converted third downs in that game we win by another couple scores

You do when Knight is able to scramble out of trouble.

I'm not saying A&M doesn't have issues. We do. And so does Auburn. But they're a pretty good team. And so is LSU, who just got beat by Auburn. And so is Arkansas, who just got hammered by 3 TDs by A&M.
We have issues. We're a 9-3 team, I think. But we're better than you're giving us credit for being.
I have to be a negative nancy. I have jinxed the team the last two years by buying into the hype early. It's my fault.
So, unless and until we win the NC...
THIS AGGY TEAM IS A BUCKET OF CREAMY, CHUNKY, FLAME-BROILED HIPPOPOTAMUS SEMEN.

if you want this to be the narrative then run with it, just saying the third down part is what was wrong with our offense all game. We could not finish drives in the redzone. Your defense was not impressive on the other 80 yards of the field

Oklahoma been air raid since Leach was the OC 20 years ago.
They had one of the best running games in college football last year, and were very run heavy when Peterson was around. That 2008 team also ran the ball much more often and much more effectively than they're ever given credit for

When they had Paul Thompson at QB and Peterson they were absolutely not air raid. Ran a lot of single back stuff and went under center plenty

OU doesn't run the the air raid with a Air raid disciple calling their plays?

They averaged 34 passes and 44 rushes per game last year.
