The week after we lost to Florida we handled Kentucky fairly well. Since that day, we've had seven consecutive close games (Auburn, Georgia Southern, Georgia Tech, Penn State, UNC, Nicholls, Mizzou). All but the UNC game were decided by one possession. The good news is, we've won them all.

If you go back a bit further, we also had close games against Tennessee and Mizzou from before the 2015 Florida game making nine of our last ten nail biters. I've never seen a string of close games like what we've witnessed lately. UGA football has been anything but boring, that's for sure.

I remember watching 2002 Ohio State waiting for them to trip up to help the dogs, but they kept winning close, ugly games over and over. Our last few games have been somewhat reminiscent of those games.

Good point, I remember that team well. I'd have to imagine a string of close games, particularly ones where a team comes from behind to win as we have many times lately, can galvanize a team and help with confidence in future situations where you fall behind.

Basically I'm drinking the kool aid this morning.
