Three games in, it will be debated whether Georgia should have been more aggressive in finding a kicker, and whether it will be on the recruiting trail. Ham and Blankenship are walk-ons, and Smart has said he believes it’s not necessary to get a good kicker by offering a scholarship. He may have to revisit that.

Has Butler said anything about the situation on his post game show? Guess he's not much help as a kicking coach.

Well, you *can* [link=(www.discovery.com/tv-shows/.../polishing-a-turd-minimyth/)]polish a turd,[/link] but it's still a turd. I don't think anyone is expecting him to work miracles but hopefully he can get them serviceable for a season or get the new PWO up to speed faster.

FWIW Blankenship was an All-American kicker before coming to UGA. Smart also said they make the kicks in practice but can't seem to do it in the games.

Also, does anyone else notice Eason's inability to consistently line the ball up, "laces out"? One time last night the laces were towards Ham.
