Kiffin is a real offensive genious - not a trickster like Malzahn or Freeze. Kiffin builds the scheme around the talent he has and runs it to perfection avoiding turnovers. That's the hardest thing to do in offensive college football.

eta - It wouldn't surprise me to see Kiffin as the HC at any college campus.

I can see Kiffen in Austin. He's weird, they like weird... (Mack Brown was weird) Longhorn boosters I imagine are tired of playing behind the Houstons, Aggy, TCU's, Baylors... and especially tSooners.
The horns don't compete for the xii title this year, Kiffen will be the next Texas coach.

I too, have matured since Kiffin departed Knoxville. But any man that would salt around with some bubble gum boppy bitch when you have Layla at home - is either a full force deviant or a fricking retard. And thats,,,,,,,the end of the story.

Where would you predict Kiffins next coaching stop to be?

He will be the next head coach at Auburn.

I think Kiffin, like Gus, will always have his greatest success as an OC. That's not to say both can't/haven't had success as HC, but when those two are able to focus all energy & attention on designing & calling plays to attack a defense, they are deadly. When you add in all the time commitments and peripheral obligations of being a HC, it takes the away from what they do best.

Al Davis of the Raiders called him the biggest liar he ever met & Davis was in & around the NFL sharks all of his professional life. I was no Davis fan by any means, but a leopard like Kiffin never changes his spots. He is a good coach, but then, consider where he's coached in college: at USC & now bama ( hard to give him any credit for what he may have accomplished at UT beyond raising shite )Point being he's always had superior talent. And 2 great coaches in Saban & Carrol. Let see him stand alone, at a program that needs rebuilding...and what other type of program would be hiring a new HC...and see just how mature he is now. He's funny when winning at elite programs. How will he react when the heat is on?
