The sheer arrogance of Texas to assume every other institution will fall in line and bend to their wishes is amazing. I read an article about the Big XII expansion last week that said if nothing changed and the league fell apart, texas, though leaning toward the B1G, would have their choice of any other conference to join. They truly believe this, even after the PAC told them no once already, and the block in the SEC that they screwed over royally. The LHN is an albatross around their neck right now as well - no other conference will allow that BS.

No, the old Big 8 will never come back. I think our old conference mates largely understand why we moved on, with the possible exception of kU, who are so jealous they can't stand it. When the Big XII folds, I'll feel very sorry for ISU and kSU.
