I believe that this recruiting class was Richt's ultimate undoing:

The dismissals/Transfers:

1. OL Josh Cardiello - Transfer to UTC
2. RB J.J. Green - Transfer to Georgia Tech; eligible to play this year
3. DB Tray Matthews - Dismissed, now at Auburn
4. WR/DB Tramel Terry - Never recovered from injury, transfer to Jacksonville State
5. DB/LB Paris Bostick - Transfer, now at Oregon
6. DB Shaquille Fluker - Transfer, now at Jacksonville State
7. DL DeAndre Johnson - Medically DQ'd
8. DB Kennar Johnson - Never played, graduated
9. DB Rico Johnson - Medically DQ'd
10. LB Tim Kimbrough - Transferring
11. DB Brendan Langley - Transfer to Lamar
12. WR Uriah LeMay - Transfer to Charlotte
13. OL DeVondre Seymour - Quit during Fall camp, now at S. Illinois
14. RB A.J. Turman - Transfer to Florida International
15. DB Shaq Wiggins - Transfer to Louisville

Graduated/Drafted:

1. OLB Leonard Floyd - Top 10 NFL draft pick
2. JUCO DL Toby Johnson - Played meaningful snaps
3. JUCO WR Jonathan Rumph - Rarely played
4. DL Chris Mayes - Drafted into NFL

Current Contributors:

1. QB Brice Ramsey - Now our starting punter
2. OL Brandon Kublanow - Starting Center
3. OLB Davin Bellamy - Starter at OLB this year
4. SS Quincy Mauger - Starter at Safey
5. DL John Atkins - Expected to start this year barring injury
6. WR Reggie Davis - Up and down as a receiver; expected to start or play significant snaps this year
7. ILB Reggie Carter - Often injured but may play meaningful snaps this year
8. RB Brendan Douglas - Career backup; has played meaningful snaps
9. OLB Johnny O'Neal - Career backup; Special Teams player
10. LB Ryne Rankin - Career backup; Special Teams stalwart
11. CB Reggie Wilkerson - Career backup
12. TE Jordan Davis - Career backup
13. Ol Aulden Bynum - Career backup
14. OLB Shaun McGee - Career backup

Basically took 18 in 2013 when we could have taken 33. Woof.

Brendan Langley

Man I forgot how awful he was. Even by the 2013 defense's standards he was terrible. Connor Shaw was coming out of the huddle praying he was matched up 1-on-1 with anybody.

Likely only two, maybe three all-SEC types in the whole group, eh?

If that.

Also, Floyd and Atkins were originally signed in 2012, which makes the 2013 class look even worse.

Pretty funny to think that Mayes and Mauger, who were some of the lower ranked 3 star-ish guys, were arguably 2 of the biggest contributors from this class.

This was the demise of Richt more than anything.

Also, our overall scholarship numbers for the 2012 team was around 67 players not including the Seniors lost.
So we desperately needed the '13 class to be a homerun and it was perhaps CMR's most disappointing class especially with all the players signed.
