FWIW, this is a CollegeFootballNews article.

LINK

Has UGA at 10-2, losing tight games to Ole Miss and Tennessee. That website is realllllly high on Tennessee this season.

They think ULL is a legit Sun Belt contender and basically said UGA will sleepwalk through the game between Auburn and GT. If it wasn't sandwiched between those two games, the score pick would be much more of a blowout.

I would take 10-2 with a new coach and Freshman QB all day long. I was thinking more like 9-3 including the 2 losses they project along with one more that we don't expect.

My guess is we split Ole Miss and Tennessee and lose one or two more somewhere else

They should be. There is no reason Tennessee shouldn't dominate. They have the talent and the depth, finally. If they fall short it will be because of Butch, or a ton of injuries.

Yea, do not underestimate this fact. Not only will there be a natural letdown after having Bama come through with probably Gameday joining them, they'll be nice and worn down by Bama's style of play. The whole "body blow" theory from Bruce Feldman. Teams that play a very physical or tough running attack (Bama, Arkansas, GT, LSU, etc..) typically do not perform as well the next week.

That's one of the games I could see us winning that we're not supposed to because of those two factor.

UGA Game Predictions

Maybe a better prediction will be on how fast this board turns south when Eason has his growing pains...

I think everyone with a functioning brain expects this.

Now WG, there was no need for that. I know we all do, but its inevitable that there are some on here who will start their usual sessions...

Exactly, football is a game of emotion and that is a HUGE game for the rebels before we get there. It'll be hard for them to replicate that emotion 2 weeks in a row, so maybe we steal one.

I hate to say it but I think we have a good chance at losing to UNC. We have too many new variables to deal with a quality opponent the first game....especially if Chubb and Michel are out or only see limited time. Let's hope Holyfield is the real deal...to coin a phrase.

I also see a loss to TN and possibly OM....but a win over the Gators.

9-3 will be a great year for a new team with the gaps we'll have to fill.
