Word from a parent is that they are getting calls from schools. There is a rumor Baylor may release players from LOI's to help reduce the possibility of a LOIC charge.

I can't think of any Alabama offered that chose Baylor.

We'll be taking Kedrick James from their '17 class and probably call it a day.

Unless they have an OL or DB that needs a new home.

A&M wanted Tren'Davian Dickson, but he is already on campus. A&M also wanted Patrick Hudson and was interested in Parrish Cobb late.

The Sips will likely benefit from these releases, because they are getting their arse kicked by transfers and nobody writes negative articles against the Sips (unlike A&M).

They lost Jake Raulerson (OC), Adrian Colbert (S), Derick Roberson (DE/OLB), Dalton Santos (ILB), Bryson Echols (DB), and Jermaine Roberts (DB) to transfers.

There is also chatter that Erick Fowler (OLB/DE), D'Andre Christmas-Giles (DT), and Marcell Southall (DT) might not qualify academically. Apparently some are saying Lagaryonn Carson (2017 prospect) won't qualify, but they are using him to bolster their recruiting ranking (like they did the past 2 years) to build buzz for the program.

There may be a few kids that may request to transfer. Normally they would look at the SEC, because of the "2-year sit" transfer rule from Big 12 to Big 12 school. I would expect the Big 12 and/or the NCAA to waive this rule.

The real problem with these guys is severe lack of development. This isn't a bunch of 2 stars.

If Patrick Hudson switches, it will be to Aggies. It is 8 - 10 years since the Longhorns even had an OL drafted.

Hearing there is going to be a significant exodus of players, recruits changing plans away from Baylor, even if they have to sit a year.

Could Baylor release them but block their transfer to another Big 12 school?

I think we've got a puncher's chance at Hudson and will lock up K'Lavon Chaisson for the '17 class very soon.

Pretty sure Hudson is going wherever his sister tells him to.

No. You can't put a restriction on an NLI release (unlike a transfer) - it's an all or nothing release.
