Richt is DGD even though he is gone he will always be remembered. I know it is a time for change but he was one of best as a leader and coach of young men transitioning to man hood.

I like how Kirby plans to be at the Taxslayer Bowl Saturday whether alabama wins or loses....

Unlike Richt who didn't even bother to go support his new team for their bowl out in Texas.

Did not watch, I wish the man the best in Miami, but I was not impressed with him in Athens and am glad there's a new sheriff in town.

Too bad there aren't playoffs for hype videos.

Seriously....did Richt always seem to downplay winning over all of the spirit, courage, arena stuff since day one or did I just not notice it until recently? I'm not saying he didn't want to win but it sure doesn't come across like a priority in these types of interviews.

It got worse after Van Gorder left, and peaked a few years ago. He was never really criticized until he hired Martinez, and the chorus of contrarians grew with each season.

It seemed the more vocal his critics, the more he downplayed on the field success and overplayed the off the field stuff. But that's the game, right? Accentuate the positive, hide the negative?

CMR was paid a lot of money to win football games at UGA and was marginal in his performance. He was, however, a good chaplain. He had plenty of opportunities to turn it around in a very weak east but didn't perform.

There's a new sheriff in town. Time to turn the page.

CMR is and always will be a DGD in my book...I am not old enough to remember the CVD and HW days in the eighties...but I do remember the nineties...and UGA was not good....but the 2000's were better...and I had pride in being a Dawg fan many times...CMR did that...did he win the big one? NO...but did he make the program better and those athletes better..YES
