Gus's career was made by Cam Newton. Without Superman, Gus labors in obscurity for years before getting the call up.
Now, we see the same thing happening with Shula, as Cam rebuilds Mike's reputation with each carry and toss.

Maybe Auburn will hire Shula after Gus gets fired. They have a history of hiring ex-Bama coaches and their fans suck and swallow anything related to Cam Newton.
