(Braves Board) A question about Dansby

I would say stay at SS. One of the main reasons Chipper moved to third was because of his knee he had just blew out.

I think it's likely that he moves to 2B once Ozhaino Albies is ready for the bigs. Rio Ruiz and Austin Riley will compete for 3B in the future.

I agree with you about Albies. Dansby has a really strong arm so he would be better for SS or 3rd. Albies gets a knock on his throwing sometimes so I can see him being a better fit for 2B.

sorry to laugh at your beaning but I'm picturing that happening to someone. I have only been to the majors games but at least 3-4/yr since it was Fulton County Stadium and have never once caught a foul ball so I'm envious of that

Wonder hown long it will take for Dansby to get called up? I'm sure he will be down there at SP..

I actually got to play with/against him a few times when I was younger. He's easily the most natural fielder I've seen. If he can cut it at the plate, he's gonna be a good one.

Yeah I think he will start in AA as he hit .289 in A already so AA seems like a good place to start barring some crazy good SP. Just saw his dad's name is Cooter

Albies has a strong arm, and scouts believe he has the skills necessary to remain at shortstop. The island of Curacao has produced several talented middle infielders in recent years, and Albies has a strong chance to continue the line.
