LSU is a bigger program than FSU

Is it though? I mean LSU is basically the 3rd big SEC school behind Bama and Florida, FSU rules the ACC-- in terms of National Achievement FSU's been a better program over the last 20, the last 30 and the last 40 years and I say this as someone who roots heartily against FSU.

Why? It's the top tier of the college football realm. It's playing high profile games every week. It's getting national tv exposure in exclusive broadcasts. It's the SEC.SEC.SEC.

Yup. Surprisingly scary how people dig up private information on people.

FSU will give him a raise. Florida's lack of state income tax also plays a part when discussing a multi million dollar salary.

The LSU job just doesn't offer anything over FSU. There is more talent in the FL panhandle than the entire state of LA. The job security at FSU is also a plus. LSU just fired their most successful coach in history after a minor slip.

You know there are no qualifications needed to treat diseases right? There are specialists, who are better at treating certain things, but even at that, the Fanconi Anemia Center is in Ohio. Pretty sure if there is a huge center for the disease there is more than one person who knows what they're doing.

Don't try to speak reason to them. Let them sell themselves on Jimbo so we can laugh at them when it's not.

feel bad for the LSU fans that can not see how dillisional they sound. I just watched this happen to a school in Austin as they predicted coaches would kill to coach there. They ended upn ith about their 6th choice and now look like arse. None of our schools are as special as we perceive them to be. Crazy to get rid of Les.

Michigan and John Harbaugh.

They had one target, they pursued it relentlessly and it came to pass. Another thing is that Jimbo has ties to LSU same with Harbaugh and Michigan. Harbaugh could have coached another NFL team, but wanted to come home. Maybe Jimbo wants to do the same thing.

Oh, and Saban didn't have any ties to Texas that I'm aware of.

Storm clouds gathering in the shite hole of Tally. Now it's true that he played a role, but he could puss out and drive west on I-10 just to get away from them.

I doubt FSU is going to let him go without a fight. It's also much easier to recruit when your school is located in the state of Florida

Don't agree. Louisiana is a hot bed with many outstanding football schools. Look at the many players who are playing through out the country. Someone like Fisher has more big time schools to recruit against like Fla. and Miami and now teams like Central Fla. and others. He will have this state all for himself and a closer proximity to Texas.

They pissed him off a few years ago about his contract when things weren't so good. In other words, ego.
