Awww Geeze...

After last weekend’s tough loss to Toledo, on the heels of calling out Ohio State’s “soft” schedule, Arkansas’ Bret Bielema has been the target of more than a few articles and jabs this week.

Today, at a presser in Buffalo, Bills head coach Rex Ryan took a swipe of his own after being asked about the upcoming challenge of facing the New England Patriots twice this season.

“Do I wish the Patriots were in a different division? I mean, yeah…probably. Could play somebody else. Not gonna mention any names.”

“I’m not gonna pull an Arkansas coach.”

Take a lookLINK / at Ryan’s delivery below.

Rex is pretty mouthy so he really doesn't have room to talk but what can ya say Bert brought it on himself.

Rex is the epitome of talking shite and not backing it up.

Still though, Bert deserves every bit of this for all of his inability to back up quite literally any shade he's thrown since he's been here.

i really don't mind his mouth IF he's talking about us or the sec. it just seems like when he (or jen too with her 'karma') starts talking about his old foes things go to hell in a handbasket.

just like hog fans and our nuttsession (which granted has finally diminished quite a bit) it's time to forget them and move on. bert, move on.

A coach that has won 2 conference games in 2 years.....shouldn't be anointing himself as the spokesperson for SEC toughness.

It's laughable.

His clumsy delusions about his place in this conference aren't just embarrassing for Arkansas. He's an embarrassment for the whole conference.

the rant isn't a big enough place for you to do all your bitching?

i'm sure others with feel differently and that's fine b/c they're hog fans and their opinion matters but if it were up to me you wouldn't even be allowed to post here.

frick Rex. Just being a smart arse.

Even though he (CBB) maybe shouldn't have mentioned any names (Ohio State), their schedule IS easier than ours and in fact most of the SEC teams.

Whether you should have said anything or not doesn't change the factuality of the statement. True is true.

what I don't understand is spurrier said the same freaking thing a week before bert. I also think Dan mullen said something about thier schedule as well. why is it since bert said something is it controversial?

Yeah, but losing to fricking Toledo kinda throws water on that. It's one thing if Bert throws shade at OSU for having an easy schedule and then we go lose to Bama or LSU because that pretty much proves his point, but it's another if he's doing it and we then lose to a MAC team that is the 3rd or 4th best team in Ohio.

Spurrier has actually won a lot in the SEC, and he's done it at two different programs, both of which were dumpster fires when he took over. Bert hasn't done shite in this conference.

I believe it was the same reporter who kept saying something along the lines of "Can you talk to the difficulty of your remaining schedule compared to some like... Ohio State for example?..."

He specifically threw tOSU in there to be able to use it in headlines because it's a key search term and only idiots would care. And sure enough, it finally stuck when his first two articles on Spurrier and Mullen didn't stick.

Uhh - no.

Us losing to Toledo has NOTHING TO DO with OSU's schedule. OSU's schedule has NOTHING TO DO with how good/bad Arkansas may be. Bielema is right. OSU's schedule is a joke. Losing to Toledo doesn't change that fact.

Where the frick did I ever say that.

I said it was embarrassing for us to talk shite about Ohio State's schedule and then go out and lose to a supposed creampuff in their own state. You're delusional if you're not embarrassed by that.
