Cocaine bust by the Coast Guard last month... submarine/12,000 lbs/$181 million

The information is only now being released, most likely because of the actionable intel extracted from the four unidentified, suspected smugglers that were in the seized vessel.

According to Chief Warrant Officer Allyson Conroy, the vessel sank while being towed, and about 4,000 pounds of cocaine went down with it

It may be related to the 16,000 lbs bust off of Florida in late July. Same m.o. of submerged vessel. Navy was illegally doing law enforcement work searching for drug vessels.
Edit: bust was off el salvador, p3's were flying out of Florida and that's where the coast guard brought the drugs
