Why do none of y'all think Leo Lewis won't be in the 2 deep as a true freshman?

Bennie Brown and Richie Brown are solidly entrenched as starters. Gerri Green is a physical freak and would start at half the other schools in the SEC. Dez Harris is another animal who is 6'4, 240 and got playing time as a freshman last year until getting hurt vs Auburn. Either Harris or Lewis will be the 4th LB on the 2-deep. If Harris is healthy- it's probably going to be him

I'm a MSU fan and I am worried about Leo being overhyped. Not saying I'm right. He's a freak athlete but it's between the ears I'm worried about. He was lights out as a HS jr. His highlight film was scary. His rating and hype were based on it. He was not the same his SR year for whatever reason. Maybe just the team around him and he may still be a stud but I want to see how he progresses at the higher level. He led the world in personal fouls as a SR. To me that says he got frustrated a lot. Again it may have been the team around him. Or it may be that he was easily confused as a MLB and coaches figured him out. MLB is not a position for low IQ players and his struggles with grades are also a red flag. Good thing is he has great players to watch and learn from. He needs that time imo.

Jamal Peters gonna be more fun to watch this year cause we don't have depth at safety. He might start mid season. Leo has too many people in front of him unless he's a freak which I hope he is

Nobody will ever convince me that something shady didn't go down Kendall Sheffield. He went from a guy who by all accounts was an Aggie lock for over a year to a Bama committ in a matter of about 2 weeks.

The explanation was that Nick Saban Skyped with him a lot. This after even Texas and Bama insiders had been conceding him for months. He then refused to even speak with anyone on the A&M staff after having great relationships for 2 years.

Nothing about that made any sense.

Saban's daughter clearly let him use the onramp to get onto the Hershey Highway.

Tehumea was underwhelming last year, and I don't believe the two projected starters as of this time have more than 2 sacks in their career combined

Because under the old DC (The Chief) the DE's were tasked more with containing rather than rushing. LSU sack and TFL totals have declined for years.

Hoping that trend reverses itself this year.
