I don't get the Idea that Driskel should put up big numbers at a smaller school because they player weaker team then UF. it's not like he had to play very many teams while at UF that had more talent then he had around him. I think he could have a big year because he doesn't have Muschamp as his head coach. I think he has a better chance of doing better then Muschamp then Muschamp would do with out Driskel. Driskels athletic ability maybe the only reason Muschamp lasted 4 years. I hope Driskel has a great year , I feel like he gets to much blame for the program struggling when he was here , when no QB ever looked good with Muschamp as the head coach.

I don't think I've ever seen so many people blame one guy when nothing seemed to function.

Running backs didn't produce, O-line protected the best in the last year (and even that was pretty bad), receivers dropped more passes than most of us want to remember and the playcalling was absolutely abysmal four years in a row.

Driskel would have been better if utilized the way he was supposed to be -- a dual-threat QB. Harris had success and opened up the game a little because he was allowed to run, Driskel made some of his best plays on the run but seemed like he was demanded to always make a throw rather than scramble (especially the year before).

In the end, we've discussed this and very few of people liked Driskel, but we'll see what he does at another school. Wish nothing but the best for him, especially after he came in and finished the ECU game after being absolutely demonized by the fanbase and blamed for the majority of offensive failures.

Seems like a lot of fans put all of the players on offense down. I have seen on another site a lot of people put down Taylor and say that Scarlett will be the starter by the end of the year. I am excited to see what the offensive players can do with a new coaching staff. We have a lot more talent on this team then we get credit for.

The talent is definitely there, it can't be coincidence that we had so many busts on offense with a defensive coordinator trying too much his first few years.

I'm excited to see what an offensive mind can do with the talent we have, even if we are a little short at OL.
