Painful second half to watch. Hawks went ice cold and got locked down. Hustled their asses off but couldn't buy a basket. I feel like towards the end of the season and during the playoffs the Hawks have been the streakiest team in the league. Basketball is a game of "runs", but it's frustrating to watch as the Hawks seem to be such a rollercoaster on both sides of the floor. Hopefully they can finish game 2.

Wizards win in 6. The curse on Atlanta teams has yet to be lifted.

Even if they don't advance this year, the Hawks aren't going anywhere anytime soon. The future looks bright.

I'm pretty confident we'll find a way to mess things up.

You won't win many games where you shoot 20%. Hopefully this was a fluke and we right the ship

Hope so. The Wizards are playing good ball right now. Beal played pretty much the entire game and was deadly. Thank God DeMarre is turning into our mini version of Kawhi Leonard. The Hawks just can't keep letting teams back in games on multiple 8-0/12-2 type runs.

I think it is a little flukey.

The second half was the 2nd worst we've shot all season. That's more of an anomaly than anything.

We shot well in the first and got complacent taking jump shots in the second instead of driving, picking up fouls, and getting to the line. You're not going to win many playoff games going to the line 11 times with 5 min left.

I think they'll bring a different game plan on Tuesday. We have to get them in the bonus early and attack the rim. Teague and Schroeder finish at the rim as well as anyone in the league. They need to do that on Tuesday.

Absolute horseshite that the Cavs are sitting at home for a damn week and we had to come home and play a fresh team off a 6 game series. I know, I know shoulda won in 4 or 5 but still terrible luck. Need to win this next one and refresh going to DC

Cavs and Wizards swept their first rounds. Hawks and Bulls both needed 6. Finish the series earlier, get more rest.

I agree we shoulda won the nets series earlier, but the scheduling is a joke. We played on the road Friday night, then come back to play a new series Sunday for a 1 tip time. Not sure why we had to be the first game to play. Think it might have had something to do with all the jump shots the hawks couldn't hit the last 3 quarters.

Definitely a game they could have won, hope they bounce back Tuesday. Feel confident they can win in Washington.
