they'll start the season with 3-4 wins and are an SEC team. that means they'll be top 15 in the polls. If they beat Tennessee they'll vault into the top ten and it'll be the first Alabama game of the season touted as a playoff implication game.
Considering their performance last year against Alabama, it would be silly to assume an easy Alabama win. As obnoxious as it is, any team that isn't considered a guaranteed loser in BDS must therefore be a title contender. This is the brilliance of the Alabama PR machine, not only do they exaggerate the quality of themselves, they exaggerate the quality of everyone they are about to play. This is why Tennessee is continually perceived as a SECe contender and rarely ever actually is. Whoever wins the UT-Arky game is going to be talked about excessively.
