Bret and Russell: The Untold Story

Many people seem to believe that Bret and many other coaches were fighting to get Wilson to come to their school a few years back. This is a misconception. In fact, Russell's game was on par with Anthony Jennings or Swoopes before his tenure at Wisconsin. Bret helped mold Russell into the soon to be back to back SB champion. RW wasn't always an elite level quaterback. He knew that Bielema is the premier talent developer which is why he sought him out. All this leads me to believe we have another star in the making with Brandon Allen. Expect Mariota combined with Barry Sanders type numbers next fall.
