Obviously Richt completely owns Tech, but here are some fun reference points for just how deep the dominance has gotten. Richt has 12 wins vs. the Yellow Jackets, Tech's last nine coaches combined have 12 wins against UGA. With a win Saturday, Tech will have fewer wins in their last nine head coaches combined than Richt would have.

With one more win this season, Richt will achieve his ninth season with at least ten wins at UGA.

Georgia Tech has eight seasons in their entire history with ten wins or more. Obviously with the expanded schedule, achieving ten wins today is easier than in the past, but the fact that Richt could get Georgia to nine different ten win seasons before Tech gets to their ninth in history is funny to me.

Short of Georgia completely falling apart under Richt, he will easily retire as the most dominant coach in the history of this rivalry. He may also go down as the coach that killed any sense of competitiveness this rivalry once had.

Part of me hopes that we continue to beat the shite out of them so bad that they just disband the program and focus on academics. That would give me bragging rights for life over my uncles and cousins.

Impressive stats indeed. Made even more impressive in that you can almost hear the teeth grinding from the techies that read them.

Say what you want about richt, but man he sure has owned our major rivals.

Nearly flawless against tech. Big lead over auburn, which was a hella tight back and forth series the decade prior to him arriving. Up big over tennessee in a series that we were getting our arse handed to us. His only shortcoming is the florida series, which isn't all that bad considering the series from the time dooley left to richt getting here.

Isn't this Pruitts first time going against Tech? I'm sure they will be looking back at how we've played them in the past, but still....how will Pruitt adjust throughout the game. Only thing that slightly concerns me.

However, our offense should shred that POS defense they got....

Don't like that it's a noon game either.

I believe so, but he was at bama when they hosted GSU so he has at least schemed for the offense before. CSU also is a heavy option team, although of course theirs isn't quite the same as tech's. We have 6 years worth of film on playing against PJ at tech so he should have enough material I would think to formulate a solid gameplan.
