Yes, but 4.3 speed with vision is 4.3 speed with vision at any level.

I'd like to have him. I have seen him play.

He plants and moves very well. Seems to be able to shift gears and split safeties. 4.3 speed is world class. He seems to be able to hit full speed within the first couple of steps. He has great hands and Colquitt utilizes that aspect when they line him up in the slot and also on routes out of the backfield. Not shy on contact as they show him getting a couple of blocks in as well in the video. Colquitt county is a legit program and they play against some of the best schools in the state.

Remember, Rocket Ishmail and Barry Sanders were pretty small. I wouldn't mind seeing him in Red and Black as I'm sure Bobo could figure some ways to utilize him.

That kid looks slow to me. Bruiser type runner though. Can he play LB lol?

Sanders was only 5'8" but hes also 200 lbs. Add 30 LBS to this kids frame and that 4.3 speed goes away, and you have a small slow back. Justmy opinion and I've been known to be wrong.

The Rocket WAS only 5'10" and 175, but played mainly at slot and WR in the pros. Now, if you are saying sign the kid and use him much like we use McKenzie, I could go along with that.

I think that Rocket's height was exaggerated by at least an inch. You are right, he was more of a Slotback/WR although Holtz would occasionally stick him in the backfield for a carry or two here and there at ND. I was absolutely mesmerized by him when I was a middle school boy lol.

I agree though, I think he would fit more as a special purpose type of guy like IMac.

Not speaking for anyone else, but THAT'S exactly what I am saying. Talent like he has can be used. His wouldn't be a wasted scholarship, I'd imagine, even if he were not an every down back...

That is it. Doesn't matter how tall you are when all they are looking at are your heels.

He's not a 4.3 runner, but he's 5'9 and 204lbs. Was second to only Nick Chubb in rushing last year, and that's saying something. Very shifty, EXCELLENT vision and UNCANNY balance. Auburn, Clemson and FSU (among a number of schools) are looking at him, but no solid offer yet from those.

5TDs and 349 yards against Gilmer in the first playoff game Friday.

Now in the quarter finals. The apparent trash we have for running back went for 150 on the ground and 5 TDs plus 1 receiving TD last Friday against the #4 6AAAAAA team in the state. No 3AAA competition here.

I'll keep you posted.

Pulled one out against Milton, helluva game, that is a good coach and tough kids. Their receiver will play D1. Refs did us no favors and they keyed on our back and shut him down pretty good. I don't know his stats this game, but I would guess 120 and 2 TDs, but he got the tough yards in the 2nd half when we had to have'em. He is a gamer.
