That will obviously be the factor, since the LSU passing attack is woeful.

Georgia liked our run defense. Alabama and MS State didn't.

Just like the rest of our defense, some weeks you can tell we have some serious depth issues we are still addressing. Other weeks it looks as good as any defense you will find in the SEC. If the good Hawg defense shows up then it will be a long day for the LSU RBs.

We flat out got whipped against Auburn but it should be noted that our best LB and our #1 CB were out against UGA. The Bulldogs ran right out the backup MLB all day long.

We don't play the Wolverines this weekend.

But generally I think our run defense has been good. It's our pass defense that has been suspect at times.

I really really like our starting defense. Beyond the starting group we have some serious depth issues that only time and recruiting can solve.

The starters are good but we don't have the depth so it can get wore down and give up alot at the end.

This.

I have no idea what to think of our run defense from week to week. We look fantastic against Bama and MSU but crap the bed against Georgia sans Gurley, and it's due in no small part to the fact that we had Ellis for both of the former games.
