All I said was being ranked 64th in top assists in him getting defensive stats. Thats true for any defensive player. Its common knowledge for anyone who knows football.

Anyone that knows football wouldn't have made the ridiculous statements you made. AJ isn't a Butkus Semi finalist because his defense is horrible or because of a bad offense. He's just a very good player. The best LB in the SEC IMO

Holy shite. Anyone with football knowledge know TOP assists in. Defensive stats. If you're a ball control offense, your defense is not in the field a lot, so they don't have a bunch of time on the field to get defensive stats.

McKinney is better than AJ, he just has other defensive play makers around him. Unlike AJ.

I never once said that was the only reason. I said having 63 other teams above you in TOP has helped generate stats and it has. Its called basic math for the last fricking time. Being on the field for 8 minutes let's a defensive player get more stats than a player on the field for 6 minutes. Its basic math. Youre stupid. I'm done

The top 4 tacklers last year played on teams in the top half of the league in Time of Possession. Shouldn't they play on teams that have poor TOP?
Again, I'm not saying a player on the field 8 minutes doesn't have more time to garner more stats than the 5 minute guy. I'm just saying it doesn't affect the stats like you think it does. Proof being the Butkus finalists and the stat above. And it's not the reason AJ has a ton of tackles, like you originally posted.
