We've run the ball down their throats, had our way for the most part at the line of scrimmage, and the passing game actually looks much improved.

Our pass defense leaves a ton to be desired, but I love what I've seen from our offense in the first half.

ETA - and it looks like the coaches weren't just farting rainbows at us about Derby.

Offense definitely looks much more dynamic.

Me too- the line omg. Overall I'm pleased- first game, on the road, etc heck yeah. And our defense is gonna kill us but they do look scrappier to me.

Meh, we run it better but pass protection is still an issue and we've done nothing in the second half.

They made adjustments and we've done nothing, stack the box forced us to throw the ball in the 2nd half and 17-0 Auburn.

I'm far less impressed.

It's happened since Tretola came in at LG after the half. I didn't see him much in the first half, but he has been in every series this second half.

I'll admit I have more confidence in Allen and Hatcher can pack his shite. It's a totally different game if he makes that catch.

Pass pro is always an issue when 2 LBs and a DT all crash the A gap. We just need to adjust and go with more slants and drags.

But yes, the offense, especially Allen has been ridiculously improved.

Yeah, I don't know why we just abandoned the run, seemingly from the get-go in the second half.

Who knows, maybe Chaney saw something in their secondary he thought he could exploit, but we shouldn't have just gone away from it totally.

If I had to guess it was us adapting to their changes and/or taking what the defense was giving us. like they stack 8 in the box we throw
