So usually Im a tight arse when it comes to buying tickets to the games, and have always sat in the upper level. This year Im thinking of flying out to attend the Tennessee game and was thinking of buying lower level tickets. Came across a pretty good deal for the 103 and 102 sections. Hows the view in these sections. I need honest opinions.

warning, this post wont answer your questin

I've always like sitting up higher (not nose bleeds per say) and watching the plays develop. no matter the view though, you'll have a blast watching us beat the frick out of UTk.

If you are higher up in those sections, the view is great. If you are down low, you are sort of in the corner. That's also a really sunny spot, you'll get really hot. I watched the LSU game last year from 103 (maybe 104 don't remember) but all the way in the back under the Club Level so we were shaded and it wasn't bad... The only plays we couldn't really see were the ones in the opposite corner of the other endzone, which unfortuneatly that game there were a few of...

Couldn't agree more. I had unreal seats in 08 vs Bama and yea, the game was terrible, but the seats themselves were just too damn close. My usual seats are the perfect distance from the field IMO but I also grew up watching from there so that kind of shaped my thoughts on it.

Never been there. But I hated the tickets I got in Auburn against Cam on the 50. Too low; go mid level or high. you need to see above the players on the sideline

Had season tickets in 103 for a few years. Pro tip-sunscreen and hydrate.

This is 102

I sat in the southeast inverse of these seats (126) and loved it. If you get too low, you won't be able to see much with the angle, but I highly recommend these.

Never sat in any 300 section besides 308 which was on the 40 away side. I really liked them, they were further away of course but the view was phenomenal.

I sit in row 1 in 331 but I'm on the 45. I love my 300 level seats. If you can get a single digit row you'll enjoy them...

I would highly recommend lower level. I've never sat in the 300s or higher so I can't comment as to those, but I have sat high up at away games.

For me personally, you just can't replicate being down low and really seeing the action up close. It's hard to even put into words or explain exactly what I'm trying to say. With HDTV being what it is, if you're at the game to sit high and watch plays develop and see things unfold..Idk, it just seems like you can do that at home.

But being in the lower level and really seeing the light bounce of those helmets, see and hear the hitting up close, it's just a completely different experience than watching on TV or sitting up high. Obviously row 1 would suck and the back row is pretty far removed. But somewhere in the 100s on a decent row is hard to beat, IMO.
