If Alabama and FSU are any indication of what it takes to win a NC, it is evident that we need multiple top 5 recruiting classes and at least top 10 results on offense, defense and special teams. Auburn won in 2010 with mediocre defense and came close this past season but in the NC vs FSU it was clear who had 104th ranked pass defense, Auburn. Auburn's scoring defense wasn't championship level either at 47th but to show how far we have to go consider that our scoring defense 79th last season, the same ranking as Tennessee......
