what would be the annual outcome? Domination? Mediocrity? Status quo? 10-2? 8-3? 14-0? Fair discussion. I'm still a Dawg fan gatorhata and Jefferson, but one could only dream of having a all or nothing coach like Saban or less desirable, Meyer. I am just being honest and not nut hugging Bama, but the man has command of that team, university, fanbase, and arguably the SEC. My concern is, we have optimal talent year in and year out. Meh...

If we had that staff for the last 10 years or so 3 crystal balls is my guess.

This specific roster doesn't fit his philosophy imo. So maybe 10 wins

We'd be in the NFC South by now

A significant part of the difference between Saban and Richt is that Saban would NOT have our roster. Saban recruits much better than Richt and definitely wouldn't have as many in-state misses as Richt. Also, whether you want to call it over-signing or smart roster management, Saban maintains a full roster which is one reason why Bama always has more depth than we do.

Honestly, I don't know. if Saban were the coach the roster would be different. But...we don't have Saban, nor will we ever have Saban. And, there are no other coaches out there that is like Saban.

Not sure we have optimal talent year in and year out, either....but it is fair we have very good talent.

Outside of Alabama and LSU idk who else really could say they have a consistently more talented team. I think our coaches development factors in as well. Also, S&C
