I feel like there's some double dipping going on here.

LSU will not consistently win titles under Kelly. No team consistently wins titles besides Alabama.

I do expect, however, that LSU will consistently be in the playoff conversation every year

Who's worried about it? I can't even remember your nobody coach's name from one minute to the next.

Lol no. Want to look at the players from those games that are currently on NFL rosters? I'd bet ND had half of the other teams.

27 vs 39 players drafted is a big difference.

Damn Clyde. Go fix yourself a Sammy and a drink. You have another couple of years before Saban quits and we are in the drivers seat. Just relax!

Go check Coach O's record as HC before he came to LSU, then try as you might to think.

I’ve stated all day that Kelly will regularly win 9-10 games per year and the SEC every now and then. But why in the world people think he will win them Nattys is beyond me.
Umm.... does anyone else see the flaw in this logic?

Let's be completely objective here. If you win the SEC multiple times, you will win at LEAST one natty, maybe more.
If the SEC champ loses in the playoffs, it's usually the biggest upset of the year.

The question is, will LSU be significantly more competitive with BK versus Orgeron. Probably.

That Top 20 had a few surprises. Namely Notre Dame & Miami. And UF ahead of UGA.

You've gotta take what you can get when everyone else tells you to frick OFF!!!

Name one coach that said to frick off with an offer on the table

You won't be able to, and Riley never had an offer because he and Kelly use the same agent and if LSU was offering Riley 100mill and Kelly only 95 that agent would step in in a heartbeat.

Maybe USC/Riley and his agent used LSU as a smokescreen while Riley and USC broke a deal. All you have to do is notice Kelly wanted Walker Howard and several LA recruits, while Riley was actively filling OU's recruiting class with CA recruits. I think offers were on the table for both parties weeks in advance because this didn't happen in a span of 3 days
