Meh. The SEC is top heavy. We’ve been competitive in most games , even losses , other then LSU when they had their once in a generation QB and have since slunk back to mediocrity. And OU is a one of only a handful of blue blood programs.

Plus, we’ve got Castiglione calling the shots.. We’ll be just fine.

The only people that care about blue blood programs are blue blood programs. Nobody else gives a shite.

Actually, the SEC is the least top heavy and most widely competitive conference in the country.

More than any other conference, the SEC consistently has ranked teams outside of its top 2-3 schools. Moreover, the SEC holds the best bowl record against other conferences due to the performance of its “lower” ranked teams.

Yes, OU will be beaten by Bama, UGA, LSU, and UF (once those latter two schools become competitive again in two years). However, it will also be whooped by frequently ranked Auburn, A&M, and Kentucky teams. Hell, even Ole Miss and Arkansas are ranked this year.

Top heavy? No sir. Even our mid level teams are laden with 4-5* recruits and NFL talent. Schools like Miss State would beat most of the B12. Good fricking luck in 2023.
