That's quite literally the only stat that Georgia outdid Alabama in but we still beat Tennessee by a larger margin (28 points vs. 24 points) than Georgia. It also must be noted that Tennessee only got to 24 points because our stupid Special Teams roughed their punter after stopping them cold

Do we have other common opponents to compare?

Bama, from my memory played a close game with UT til the 4th, then piled on. UGA played a close quarter, Took control before half. Shut it down and ran out the clock, with UT getting a late score.

When the outcome of the game cannot be changed, its garbage time.

UT realistically scores more points except their QB tried to do too much instead of just throwing the ball away and ended up fumbling the ball.

They were never going to win the game, they didn't have enough defense to do that.

In fairness, Bama did have to blow a coverage directly after that to allow the TD. The penalty only gave the fresh set of downs.

That said, UTk surprised me vs UGA.

They moved the ball better than vs Bama, and were less dependent on going for HR shots. TOP was much more even. But, UGA stepped up when needed. A couple turnovers and Heupel channeling his inner lane kiffin on a 4th down attempt vs a FG too early was a bit desperately.

UGA is a great team. Bama is capable of playing like one as well. Just need to get through Arky and AU without anymore injuries and at least one W, and we'll see if the Tide can challenge them or not.

I think Bama's D matches up very well with what UGA likes to do with Bennett. Just need to either protect or give Bryce some options to negate the pressures and need him to play mistake free football. If so, we could have a closer game than most think.

Garbage time is determined by the score of the game.

Charleston Southern has this one handed qb that will be the best long ball, mobile qb we face all year, their blind wrs will torch the dogs secondary.

This will be Georgias biggest test.

Vols do have a good offense. But every time the Dawgs defense overpowers an offense, we are always told the "offense is no good".

Uga made hooker off, and that Rb wasn’t gonna do shite vs our D but nice spin after uga proved you wrong yet again.

When will UGA play a strong offense?
. UT was the closest the Dawgs have faced. There is no elite offense to be seen this season a la the Tigers and Tide from the past two seasons. Your D is really good. Stop being a whiny bitch about it.

We can't judge Georgia or anybody else until the end of the season. This is the SEC. If our champion doesn't win the natty It's a down year for the conference. That's the only stat worth bragging about. All the other stats are for losers. Believe me, I know.

Zero % chance I'm bragging about UGA winning the NC. But, will congratulate them if it happens. They have a great defense and are a huge remaining piece of the puzzle in the year of the streak busters, so it is long overdue

To the rest of the statement, it is absurd. Winning the conference is a big deal. The CFPs put a lot of good competition and variables at play. Losing it is hardly an indicator if a "down" SEC.

The SEC as a whole has been pretty competitive this year. Should be a big bowl season, as a whole.

UT’s 1.5ypc average in the game was solid if not spectacular.

Bama fans have essentially heard that almost every year since 2008. The "they ain't played no one Pawl" is par for the course each year one team begins to seperate themselves. I wouldn't take it to heart.
