They actually do. And the river Styx runs underneath the stadium.

We only have dogs in it. Y'all have eagles, tigers, plainsmen and no telling what else in yours.

Yep. We usually bury Tigers in that cemetery. Used to have a ceremony every November, but got some complaints from PETA so they moved the game to October. Didn't help, though. The dead Tigers just keep showing up.
Cemetery is filling up fast.

Some of Mississippi State's mascots (Bully) are buried in our football stadium. Our very first one was buried beneath a sideline bench on the 50 yard line.

On a related note, Pet Sematary was still several years away from publishing when Jawja won its last national title.

On the day of Auburn's first football game in 1892 against the University of Georgia, the aged eagle broke away from his master during the game and began to circle the field, exciting the fans. But at the end of the game, with Auburn victorious, the eagle fell to the ground and died. In 2010,

Wiki

Obviously the eagle dropped dead of a heart attack because he couldn't believe Auburn beat Georgia in a football game. Explains why their eagles live such long lives today.

We’ve buried a lot of Auburn Tigers this century at both stadiums.
