Hell, looks like he was THE Defensive coordinator while he was still in High School.
He graduated high school in 1994. He was a DC/LB coach a year later for a JV team. Reading is hard though

You are, he isn’t.
I quited The bio you linked.
Didn’t say he was the LB in 1996. Says he was an assistant while finishing his degree.
It’s literally says he was the Lb coach the 2 years before coaching at Delta State in 2007

Yep! Another lie? Just looked up Redlands High School enrollment... over 2,000 kids
So the defensive coordinator of a 6A or whatever high school in California in 1995 was an 18 year old kid?

So again, the guy who was there when Aranda was there is also lying about Aranda coaching at 19 years old. That's what you're saying
GAs and Student Assistant in a normal capacity are not position coaches, that's not "coaching" positions. He flat out said he was COACHING at 19.
I love the fact that you continue to argue he was a position coach in college at age 19

Nah man he's uncovered a massive lie here.
A former head coach of Cal Lutheren who went to school with Aranda there lied when he directly said Aranda was coaching there at 19 years old.
On top of that, no high school in the history of high schools ever had an assistant coach on varsity, JV, freshman team who was of college age.

lots of smaller schools have students as position coaches.

I love how you are ignoring direct quotes from a head coach of the school who went to school with him there that flat out said he was coaching at 19.

Nope

he said he was breaking down film! It's in black and white! Lawd!

So you're a unit of 21 year old and 20 year old college linebackers, and your "coach" is a 19 year old kid who never played college football?
This is pretty damning.

He said he started by doing that, THEN was coaching by 19. I know reading is tough though. A head coach of the school is probably just lying too

Oh! So he was breaking down film for Lutheran at age 18 then? While he was also "defensive coordinator" of a 6A school??
So he did both in 1995? He was coaching for two teams the same year??

wow.
wow indeed
almost all programs, especially small ones, have students who are student assistants
they don't coach guys who actually play college football that are the same age as them, or older

Yes, Aranda coached in high school the year after he graduated hig hschoo, for the JV team. Like I said:
quote:
The former standout linebacker at Redlands High School in Southern California was set adrift in life when a chronic shoulder injury derailed his playing career. He attempted to join the Navy, but he couldn’t pass the physical with a bad shoulder. He didn’t care much for school at the time. He coached the JV squad at Redlands
Secondly, while he didnt start out as LB coach at Cal Luthern, this says he was promoted to LB coach before graduating:
quote:
Injuries let Aranda get an early start on his coaching career. He hung around at Cal Lutheran and started working as a student assistant coach. Most of his free time was devoted to scraping together enough gas money to drive to USC, UCLA or Arizona State so he could pick the minds of their defensive coaches. By the time he was wrapping up his philosophy degree as a senior, he was promoted to Cal Lutheran’s linebacker coach.
So yes, he WAS the LB coach at Cal Lutheran in the 90s.
