Huh? Ags make it sound like they have the best defense ever assembled.
Well they did face Colorado. Did you see how good that offense was last week against Minnesota?

We’re ok. They play hard.
Arky fans make it seem like they have the best offense ever assembled.

You should probably shut the frick up about defense until your team shows up against somebody other than Rice.

I can think of one deep ball that was badly thrown. The rest were well covered
Card missed a wide open Whittington in the end zone. He got his hands on the ball, but he was wide open.
Card threw a nice pass to Whittington for about 30 yards that was flat out dropped.. He would have been tackled, but it would have been a nice gain. I believe it would have put us in FG range, but not sure.
Card threw a horrible pass far right, again to Whittington, where he had 5 yards of separation behind the defense.. A good pass scores a TD..
Card missed Xavier Worthy about 3 yards behind everybody.. and he is our fastest guy.. a great pass is a TD.. a good pass is a completion.
That’s 4 completely missed opportunities..

Nope.. they aren’t. There defense is better than their offense imo.

Good talk. Thanks for the intelligent response. Good luck this weekend.

I agree with all of this. We were fortunate and this has to be corrected or an accurate qb will put up Heisman numbers on us.

It’s interesting that you haven’t noted anything that Arky needs to shore up.
We have a ton to shore up. DBs been getting beat deep a lot. KJ can’t hit the deep ball. RBs missing holes at the LOS,

That penultimate one was a hot route if we're thinking of the same play. I was there in person and it happened right in front of us. Probably couldn't see it on TV, but the dback knocked him off his route.
The last one is the one I was talking about.
First one - if it touches your hands, you gotta catch it.
I don't remember the second one.

Agreed. It was a tough catch, but he could have caught it despite the bad throw.
All 4 examples I gave were open with separation.. simple pitch and catch and they are touchdowns and/or long gains.
You have to make those plays if you want to win games like that.. At least some of them.
Instead, we got the Golden Sombrero.

Off topic and I hate to say this to a Whorn, but you're turning into a good poster. Welcome aboard.

#9 Total Defense. Our rush defense numbers keep us from being higher. #1 in Scoring and Pass Defense though.

Realistically.. how good is your defense?
Do you think it is in the same class as Georgia or Clemson? Where do you think they end up in scoring defense for the year? Top 5? Top 10?
