Both of those guys annoy the frick out of me.
Watching them interview the East and West coaches individually made me sick. McGee especially. He nutted every time any coach said something remotely funny. Bet he licked Saban's shoes off-camera.
Also, I think Chiz does a fantastic job.

Gene can get car salesman-ish at times with his I’m a former coach persona, but he was a good defensive coordinator and knows what he’s talking about. I do think he is a genuine guy. He took a step aside from coaching to actually be a peer of his family which I completely respect

I can't stand David Cross's stand-up(love Mr. Show), but I still loved when he called out Larry-the-Cable guy on his bullshite.

The Smith guy kinda rubs me the wrong way also. I am rural South and definitely have an accent but don't confuse accent with IQ. That is a bad habit some people have, in fact most people in the north confuse accent with IQ.
I did not know where the guy came from. I am not into NASCAR or any other type of racing so I was not familiar with him. I am not saying he has an act, that just may be the way he is and if so at least he is genuine.

Just saw this. I had previously met Ryan McGee at the SEC Championship and I mentioned my distaste for Smith. He laughed, I followed up with a tweet talking about his over the top southern routine an I tagged Smith in the post. He responded and was indignant because some twitter rando told him he sucked.
